Today's region is known as Samatat, the green land of education, culture and heritage of today's Comilla Sadar Dakshin Upazila, which is a combination of ancient civilization and modernity. Mainamati, at the foot of Lalmai Hills, with the relentless efforts of the enterprising and hardworking people of the region and under the overall supervision of the administration.
The upazila administration is working in coordination with all the departments to make the development target level successful by successfully implementing various development programs of the present government. We all have this firm conviction that we will reach the vision 2021 of the government in this joint effort of all.
